Bryght Tymes Ahead for an Expanding Raincity Studios

Nov 21st, 2007 No comments yet.

Word on the street is that two of Vancouver’s finest web development companies are joining forces: Raincity Studios has acquired Bryght. Bryght has built a thriving business on the Drupal platform, mastering high-speed development of rich, functional web applications. Raincity complements that with their focus on the front-end design work that puts a pretty and usable face onto that functionality. It’s a peanut-butter and chocolate kind of merger, if ever there was one.

With the acquisition comes news of expansion overseas, with an office opening in Shanghai, and the passing of all opportunities for puns based on the Bryght name. Darren has a sweet and short interview with Kris Krug that answers the important questions.

Congratulations to the gang at Bryght, and here’s to the combined future growth of two Vancouver originals.
